Sales Force Automation Software
Sales force automation software is software that is automated to complete sales-oriented CRM tasks for companies, businesses, or independent sales-people. Often, these types of programs are of the CRM type, and are made to process and utilize information put into then. This could be information like addresses, E-mail addresses, text message addresses, telephone numbers, or anything like this.
Here is a quick example of what sales force automation software might do. Take, for example, a company that puts on concerts. Well, this company, which is basically a concert-promotion company, might make use of this automation process in several ways. First off, they might get text message numbers from fans who join their texting club.
When they do, the numbers are processed by the automated system, and welcome messages are sent out. Now, all that the company has to do is tell the system what the monthly, bi-monthly, or even weekly messages are going to say. The messages are then sent out automatically, thus why they are called sales force automation software.
Sales force automation software can also operate on the level of targeted E-mail marketing. Basically, potential customers are reached via email in the same way as they are by text message. This is a much more common example… most companies now have an email newsletter, while text message alerts are also common, albeit a bit more on the rare side.
What really gets interesting now is the fact that a lot of sales force automation software, even software designed for CRM purposes, can be run on a mobile device now. This mix-up is only for the very serious salesperson, because it allows them to add data to their database without needing to be at their desktop. In a way, desktop CRM days are coming to a close, because many mobile devices are, in all honesty, just as good, if not better.
At least for CRM purposes anyway. Sales force automation is really the wave of the sales future. Nothing can stand in the way of progress… and now progress is automated! How can it get any better than that?
